Cover made for Boom! comics. The series title is Malignant Man.
Quick Description from Boom!:"MALIGNANT MAN tells the story of Alan Gates, a cancer patient with a terminal diagnosis, who’s resigned to his fate…until he discovers that his tumor is actually a mysterious parasite! Granted a second lease on life and incredible, otherworldly powers, Alan must fight against an evil army buried beneath society’s skin, all the while unlocking the secrets of his forgotten past."
But parasites also tend to have the instinct that it is in their best interests to keep the host alive. If the host were to die, the parasite would too. Therefore, it would be at least slightly beneficial, since the parasite would try to keep them alive.
You're right buddy. I thought the same, but I had to keep the design established by the editor for the character. But the relation with prototype it's inevitable
Bit of a shame, really. With such a starting point, there are so many different possibilities. But I suppose the blade is the best way of giving the book some visibility: us geeks will remember the game, and that visual superposed with a radiography makes for a most striking cover.
It's actually one of the best covers I've seen in a long time, in my opinion.
are you doing any interiors anytime soon?
Thanks
